These are made fresh to order so please allow a two to three week lead in time before dispatch. Multiple strains are available for some species, if interested feel free to email direct for further information about strain collection locations and characteristics.
Cultures are strictly for personal use only and not for commercial use. Culture DNA barcodes are known and are able to be identified when necessary.
We were so lucky to go to a mushroom workshop in the Auckland Botanical gardens a few weeks back, and got excellent instructions and information + an oyster mushroom grow kit. It We harvested the first mushrooms today - after being delighted daily how fast the mycelia grew, then fruited. The mushrooms are beyond delicious, and it has been great entertainment following the growth and development. Thoroughly recommend grow kits from the Mushroom Smith - our new hero!

My daughter bought a kit from you as a present for me. OMG....amazing. I love oyster mushrooms and this kit from you has gone mad. They were actually already sprouting in the bag by the time the kit was delivered to me and after 3 days, I have enough to harvest if I want. Brilliant product.
