Advanced Mushroom Grow Kit - Tawaka

Try some advanced mushroom cultivation with a Tawaka grow kit. Traditionally collected by Māori, Tawaka is a beautiful and delicious mushroom. This species produces classic looking mushrooms with a rich earthy flavour. When found in the wild this species produces mushrooms with long stalks and substantial caps with diameters up to 20 cm. One of The Mushroom Smith's personal favorites, this species presents a challenge for experienced cultivators.

This species appears to perform best when fruiting in tall and narrow containers like Enoki. With this in mind these Tawaka grow kits contain two smaller 1.5 kg fruiting blocks. This species thrives in dedicated fruiting spaces but will also do reasonably well via the "in vitro" method. Getting the first crop is easy, but can you get consistent second and third crops?
